BLOWDRYING

BLOG

The power of a great blowdry has been underestimated. When there’s a hair design competition, the blowdries happen offstage.

Yet a blowdry will make or break a look.

If you take pride in what you do, you want to constantly impress your clients.

Whether you’re a newer  stylist or a seasoned pro, you need to keep up with what the cutting edge stylists are doing as they work with hair that’s wet and semi-dryto form the cut.

You know a fantastic blowdry when you see it.

Yet all too often, the haircut gets all the credit.

The blowdry gets no recognition whatsoever.

And yet…

A fantastic blowdry brings makes a haircut stand out.

  • It shows the beauty of the client.
  • It shows off the skill of the haircutter.
  • It showcases the brilliance of the haircolor.
  • The highlights all come together
  • The hair will have  a consistent sheen to a point where the hair just looks like glass
  • The hair elasticity, pliability, and brilliance will be top notch.

Yes, it’s that smooth looking.

But if a stylist hasn’t mastered the art of the blowdry—no matter how skillful the haircut and coloring are— something will be missing.

  • The look won’t make a statement.
  •
  • It won’t stand out.
  •
  • It won’t gleam.

And the look won’t fully transform your client from meh to radiant.

If you fail to push your creative edge when  blowdrying, your clients will lose out. And so will you.
