Who can compete:
To enter the next competition cycle (starting WHEN), you must meet at least one of the criteria below:
You are a licensed hairdresser.
Or you’re a student currently in a beauty school and you have not taken your state boards or the equivalent in your country to get your license.

Rules
How it works
- Each participating salon is allowed to enter one team of four hair designers.
- Teams must demonstrate their mastery in four hair categories: short, medium, long, and night-time sexy.
- Each team member may use a blowdryer and brush.
- Hot tools—like heated styling brushes, curling irons, flat iron, or hair straighteners—are prohibited from the competition. Warning: Judges will be on the lookout for signs that a team member used a hot device. Using a hot tool could immediately disqualifies a person’s entire team.
- The blowdrying competition will last three months (from September 15, 2024 to March 31, 2025 at 11:59 pm)
- During that time, teams will create one video that shows highlights of their work process and one still photo for each of the four hair categories.
- Each team will upload their video and photos to the website.
- Each team must mention the one line of products they’re using to achieve their looks.
- Each team must name their favorite blowdryers.
- Votes for the qualifying rounds will depend on your base of clients, friends, and well-wishers who vote.
